One Year On: Roehampton's Ventures Thrive...

Loved my recent trip back to University of Roehampton, nearly one year since I completed my interim assignment working with Richard Keogh and many others. It was exciting to bring their newly-established School of Continuing Education to fruition, supporting Roehampton Education Services in set up, launch and scale up phases. So much to contemplate, as I meandered their beautiful West London campus and met with friends and colleagues.
A fabulous team working with me ensured that together we delivered on the goals: new International Pathways, B3 Continuation, Income Diversification, Apprenticeship, Short Course expansion and growth to their proven Foundation courses. Removing home and international students access barriers for higher education, increasing student success and satisfaction, and establishing dedicated academic and professional teams in the School, which complemented wider University needs, made me very proud.
Today Roehampton continues to innovate. I am delighted to see, for example, the new Sustainable Engineering & Technology Centre building now open under Professor Stephen Pretlove’s pioneering vision; the University and its ambitious teams go from strength to strength.
Delighted the breadth of new provision successfully rolling out: foundation, international, partnership, online, apprenticeship and professional education.
Projects like this remind me why I love this work: creating meaningful outcomes for innovative teams.
Excited to see where Roehampton's next chapter takes them...
